Plot Request Form

Thank you for your interest in Croftburn Allotments. We are a relatively new allotment and we are excited to be part of a group that is actively growing their own fresh produce, right here in the heart of Glasgow.

When applying for a plot we are particularly interested in knowing that you can give a full level of commitment to the plot. This is typically required during the growing season and applicants will need to devote 4-5 hours a week to their plot in order to maintain it and maximise its use.

We also expect every member to contribute a minimum 6hrs per annum to communal tasks. This forms and strengthens our community and enables us to have a space which benefits everyone in it, including our neighbours.

There is waiting list at Croftburn Allotments, and you will be notified once you are on the waiting list upon acceptance of your request.

We generally release plots at certain times of the year to ensure applicants have the best advantage to making their plot a success. (eg. start of the growing season, after plot inspections.)

If you are applying for a new plot, please note ONLY residents within Glasgow City Council are eligible. To find your own allotment within your council area, contact your local office.

Successful applicants must abide by the City Council and Association Rules, pay relevant fees to GCC and the Association, upkeep their plot to a reasonable standard .

We look forward to your hearing from you.
