Following on from our last inspection, we will be hoping to see plots in full cultivation of 50% or more (Micro are set at 75%). Plot should be maintained and respect shown towards your neighbours with managed borders and communal paths adjacent to your plot.

The growing season is in full swing and plots should be looking healthy and managed. A quick inspection to check plots are respectful of neighbours and growing vegetables, herbs, fruit or flowers and that pernicious weeds are not seeding or taking over.
National Allotments Week - https://thenas.org.uk/NAW-24 This years focus is dedicated "to our celebrations to the vital role that allotments play in promoting biodiversity. Affirming allotments as crucial green spaces that support wildlife, improve air quality, promote health and mitigate carbon emissions."

Our final inspection of the year will be looking at members preparing their allotments for winter. Shed and fence maintenance is a priority as well as managing overgrowth from the summer.
